PROBLEM—
HOW IT STARTED....
"Using Instagram feels limited in my current situation, especially with how the algorithms are set up. Having a website would give me a lot more freedom to control things."
FilipinoSpaghetti’s work is currently showcased in galleries that rely heavily on the preferences of curators, art dealers, and other key players. After talking with him about his frustrations with this system, we realized that creating a blueprint for a responsive website where he can control his own marketing and reach various audiences was a crucial first step for him.
HMW we restructure content to align seamlessly with social media platforms, creating a cohesive narrative across all channels while maintaining an easily navigable presentation?
OBJECTIVE—
THE RIGHT GOALS....
→ Creating adaptable web framework for any site builder
→ Learning about users' perceived value of the product
→ Establishing brand identity
→ Crafting a streamlined and speedy interface with an online store
→ Developing a minimum viable prototype for testing

APPROACH—
NAVIGATING THE
DESIGN JOURNEY....
The design of the wireframes are driven by a thorough understanding of user needs, identified through extensive research and problem prioritization. Complex site maps were crafted to simplify primary navigation and responsive layouts, supported by low-fidelity diagrams for rapid solution exploration that align with his current social media presence. Continuous user testing validated assumptions and refined the implementation of seamless narratives within dynamic layouts iteratively. This approach culminated in high-fidelity skeletons aimed at boosting sales revenue through an online store and creating a cohesive digital presence across all channels.
Looking at artist's web presence outside of social media, I discovered the sense of branding outside of social media presence is lacking. I hypothesized that this might affect sales and be a key feature in the potential to develop trust though consistent and transparent web presentations while allowing creative freedom to express art.

LEARNINGS—
THE TAKEAWAY....
The project began purely as helping a creative peer. We initially spent time referring to our own experiences then conducting research on common websites we find ourselves visiting then expanding our taste to further determine the threshold of how simple and how extreme we can go, that eventually introduced the right questions to ask during user interviews and what we wanted to test with our users.
It was through this extensive brain storming and research that proved to be equally, if not more valuable, in identifying common design practices and the opportunities to find the starting point of developing expressing his creative freedom through product design.
Acknowledging the essential roles of navigation, presentation, and trust helped build the platform strong from the beginning.
